Large Porcelain Decorative Plate

This is my first attempt at kintsugi. Which is a Japanese art of repairing subtle cracks in ceramics. This practice teaches that broken objects are not something to hide but to display with pride. Which I really like. Instead of discarding something that isn't "perfect" we embrace it and give it new life.
The two trees in this piece represents the dance two people play when they open themselves up to being vulnerable with each another. Which in essence is embracing and accepting your and your partner's imperfections.
