Wisdom is not a moment. It is a lifetime of becoming. She stands at the edge of herself, her profile dissolving into an underwater world, coral and light and a dolphin leaping through what might be memory. She is content. She is knowing. She carries her years the way the ocean carries everything.

The sea has always held this kind of knowledge. In Maya cosmology, water was not simply a physical element but a living boundary between worlds, a place where what is hidden below the surface holds more truth than what is visible above. The dolphin has long been understood as a guide between those worlds. So has she. This painting is an invitation to consider what it means to be shaped by your life rather than diminished by it, to hold your stories the way water holds light. Wisdom isn't a destination. It is what happens when we stop resisting and begin to deepen.
