This ceramic wall art bevels out of the wall. I often work in this form because it allows me to play with several different concepts. Because of its partial sphere shape, it can represent the earth, cycles, different perspectives, and a focused view.

When I lived in Kansas City I would often go to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. It has a huge section of Asian art that fascinated me. I fell in love with the watercolor approach to landscape with a bold dark mark to define the details. This dreamy landscape reminds me there is a place in my heart that is so vast and soft that it can hold any pain/suffering and transform it into beauty.
