In the recent past, I went on a contemplative journey, confronting both my fears and those shared collectively. In this painting, the bear serves as a metaphor for fear itself. By deliberately sitting with and keenly observing the nature of this symbolic bear, I discovered the immense compassionate power that arises. This internal transformation, akin to the wisdom of the Buddha, ripples outward, influencing the world around me. The artwork prompts the viewer to reflect: Are you the bear, entangled in fear, or the Buddha, embodying profound compassion and understanding?
