This painting was created during a very difficult time in my life (dark night of the soul). I was very afraid and felt very alone. It seemed as if the world was closing in on me. It took everything I had to focus on the light. Eventually it brought me out of the dark place I found myself in.
During that time of complete presence with the difficult emotions that were stirring inside me, I found that I was not alone. A deeper more ethereal part of me was guiding me through.
