Transformation is rarely a single moment.

Nature reminds us that it is often quiet, gradual, and sustained through relationships we seldom notice. What appears to be an individual is frequently an entire ecosystem of visible and invisible connections, each one shaping the other in ways that cannot exist alone.

As I painted this piece, I found myself recognizing those same patterns within my own life. The more closely I observed the natural world, the more it seemed to reflect the changes unfolding within me. Perhaps transformation is less about becoming someone new and more about discovering what has been quietly taking shape all along.

This painting holds that reflection. Perhaps we are all continually becoming, shaped by countless relationships that sustain us, even when we cannot always see them.
